Coby is a fifth-generation family member, born and raised in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Lincoln High School. He is the head of Summit’s Investment Committee tasked with assessing new investment opportunities and strategies for Summit’s investment portfolio. Prior to joining Summit, Coby held various positions at J.P. Morgan, the largest bank in the United States, for 8 years. His responsibilities included running the US CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation) Strategy desk, being a CMBS (Commercial Mortgage Backed Security) credit analyst, and graduating from the OADP (Operations Analyst Development Program). After majoring in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University in 2010 and spending a year abroad at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan, Coby became a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) in 2016. His civic engagements include Alzheimer’s Association, Syracuse University, and the US Holocaust Museum.
