Stuart Weiss has been on Summit’s Board of Directors since 1997. His ongoing role with the company is to review the monthly accounting process, aid in strategic tax planning, manage Summit’s stock portfolio and supervise the biannual valuation of the business. Outside of Summit, Stuart’s full-time occupation is to value family businesses up and down the West Coast. Stuart received his MBA from Stanford and his undergraduate degree from UCLA. In his free time, Stuart enjoys giving back to the community. He is active with the Stanford Volunteer Alumni group, is on the Investment Committee of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation and leads free valuation classes for colleagues in the Portland/Vancouver area.
